Product features:
End caps made of elastic material (Elasto) merely complement the profile of the weather protection rails (WSS) up to the rebate and do not have a sealing function. The parapet joints of the frame, the joints between the weather protection rails (WSS) and end caps, and the joints between the end caps and the frame must therefore be sealed with suitable sealants.
A notice:
To determine the length of the weather protection rails (WSS), 6 mm is deducted from the reference dimension. For weather protection rails (WSS) with rebate-extending end caps, the frame clearance is the reference dimension. The end cap complements the profiling of the weather protection rail (WSS) in the rebate, thus eliminating the need for laborious notching of the weather protection rail (WSS).
