- Good dam formation and raw indicator function - UNI-SAFE absorbs the weight of the liquid and forms an effective dam; liquids cannot spread further; the lime green dye acts as a raw indicator; upon contact with acids, UNI-SAFE turns yellow, and red with alkalis or alkaline substances; this is an essential aid for emergency personnel on site and for the disposal of contaminants
- UNI-SAFE acts as an emission brake if, after the actual setting of the respective liquid, an additional layer of at least 1 cm thick dry, unused Uni-Safe Binder is applied; this must be done over the entire surface and without gaps; this creates a vapor barrier that protects emergency personnel and the environment; even with oleum and chlorosulfonic acid, the smoking stops suddenly.

- UNI-SAFE has proven itself excellent for the subsequent cleaning of contaminated traffic areas; whether oil, paint residue, or other residues – simply wet the existing oil film with water or a water-surfactant mixture, sprinkle on UNI-SAFE, wait 10 minutes, and then remove (if necessary, follow up with a small amount of UNI-SAFE and sweep away cleanly).
