- with Stihl four-channel technology, STIHL 2-Mix engine and anti-vibration system
- STIHL M-Tronic: the fully electronic engine management system regulates the ignition timing and fuel metering in every working situation, taking into account external conditions such as temperature, altitude and fuel quality
- The STIHL Ematic system achieves the optimum between sufficient chain lubrication and low chain oil consumption
- The quantity-regulating oil pump reduces the oil consumption of the chainsaw by up to 50 percent
- Combination lever with stop function: only one start position is required on the combination lever; after switching off, the control lever automatically returns to the operating position thanks to the stop function; the warm machine can therefore be restarted immediately
- with long-term air filter system with HD2 filter for a very good filter effect
- A control system in the carburettor, the compensator, ensures that, despite increasing contamination of the air filter, engine performance, exhaust gas quality and fuel consumption remain almost constant over a long period of time by means of pressure equalization
- The side chain tensioner allows for protected, easy and quick re-tensioning and changing of the chain
- Manual decompression: the decompression valve makes starting the engine easier; when starting, you can allow part of the compressed mixture to escape from the cylinder by opening the valve; this protects the starting system and requires less force on the starter rope
- Thanks to the carburetor preheating, you can work reliably with the chainsaw even in winter; with just one simple movement, you can switch from summer to winter operation; in the winter setting, preheated intake air flows around the carburetor, preventing it from icing up.

Der Solo 553 K überzeugt in allen Bereichen: sehr robuste Verarbeitung mit Alu-Druckguss-Gehäuse, extrem zuverlässiger Honda-Motor und ein sauberes Schnittbild selbst bei hohem oder dichtem Gras. Der große Fangkorb lässt sich leicht entleeren, und durch die verschiedenen Funktionen (Mulchen, Fangkorb) ist man sehr flexibel. Dank 2-Gang-Antrieb auch auf größeren Flächen angenehm zu fahren. Für mich einer der besten Profi-Mäher am Markt – klare Kaufempfehlung!
