AGO Quart® Algae and Green Growth Remover

Determining the correct mixing ratio:

• 1:20 - light green deposits can be treated with a 1:20 dilution ratio; this dilution ratio is also used for preventative treatment of an already cleaned area; the green deposits usually disappear within a few days
• 1:10 - if the surface is heavily soiled and already has a black discoloration or is affected by lichen, the stronger concentration of 1:10 is the right choice; it can take approximately 8-15 months until the cleaning result is visible; the removal of lichen can take up to 24 months

Preparation and application:

• 1 - Measure the required amount of AGO Quart® concentrate
• 2 - Pour the concentrate into a suitable pressure sprayer
• 3 - Fill the pressure sprayer with the correct amount of water
• 4 - Make sure that the surface is completely dry and free of coarse impurities such as leaves, twigs, etc. before starting treatment.
• 5 - Spray the AGO Quart® solution evenly onto the surface using a pressure sprayer. The amount of product should be such that a continuous film of liquid is visible when spraying.
• 6 - after applying the algae and lichen remover, the surface needs a drying phase of approximately 6-8 hours to bond with the sprayed material

Tip: If you apply AGO Quart® in late summer/autumn, you can enjoy a clean surface the following year. AGO Quart® can also keep your fountain, rock fountain, or pool free of algae. Simply add approximately 20-50 ml of AGO Quart® to one cubic meter of water. Important note for roof treatment: Make sure the roof surface is not too hot. The active ingredient needs time to penetrate the material; if the liquid evaporates too quickly, this won't be possible.
