Briggs & Stratton's Fuel Fit® keeps fuel fresh and protects engines better than ever before. Fuel Fit® not only keeps the carburetor clean for easier starting, but now also protects against the corrosive effects of ethanol and maintains fuel stability for up to 3 years.
Today's ethanol-blended fuels can damage engines by attracting moisture. Ethanol easily combines with moisture from the air, creating an ethanol-water mixture that is highly corrosive to engine components. The fuel also begins to degrade as soon as you pump it. Fuel residue builds up, gumming up valves and clogging fuel lines and carburetor jets, leading to serious starting problems, poor engine performance, overheating, and fuel leaks.
