Description
- Basic-coated universal electrode with very good welding properties
- especially for welding high-strength fine-grain steels
- Typical applications include steel construction, container and offshore structures, even in cases of sour gas attack
- The weld metal alloyed with approx. 0.9% Ni meets the requirements for notched impact toughness even at -50 °C
- The coating has a low moisture absorption (LMA) and delivers <4 ml of diffusible hydrogen per 100 grams of weld metal after re-drying or from the VacPac
- meets the requirements of the HIC test according to NACE TM0284 and the SSC test according to NACE TM0177
