Description
It is a closed-cell PE foam and serves as backer rod (depth limitation) for deep joints that need to be filled.
Application examples :
Joints are often deeper than necessary and therefore unsuitable for effective sealing. The depth of the joint to be filled should therefore be limited using Meinlband round cord.
It is ideally suited as a stuffing and backfilling material for sound insulation and sealing of backfills, construction and expansion joints, cavity fillings, connection joints and profile glass seals.
Advantages :
Meets the requirements for expansion joint design according to DIN 18540. Suitable for joints exposed to moisture. Water and moisture repellent.
Suitable for use with absorbent materials. Easy to install, saves sealant, increases elasticity. Compatible with all common sealants. High aging resistance, environmentally friendly – chemically neutral, no three-sided adhesion.
