- is a patented thread sealing thread made of 100% PTFE and seals almost all metal and plastic threads permanently and safely
- reliably compensates for the gap between the threads and forms a PTFE film of the required thickness when screwing
- This film is extremely resistant to almost all chemicals, even the most aggressive solvents, alkalis and acids
- is non-flammable and functionally safe in a temperature range between -200°C to +240°C (-328 to +464°F)
- In contrast to other sealing materials, where the fabric merely serves as a carrier for the actual sealant, WEICON DF 175 is itself the sealing material
- Separation of carrier and sealing material over the lifetime of the screw connection is thus excluded
- has an unlimited shelf life and always remains soft and flexible
- suitable for drinking water and solar applications
