The ribbed plugs are designed for use in pipes or suitable bores with free, clear passages corresponding to the nominal dimensions and at least the length of the shaft. The material and design of the shaft ensure a secure fit and prevent them from falling out. For use as a glider (limited shear strength!) and for sufficiently smooth installation in pipes with thicker walls, a chamfered inner diameter is recommended.
