Description
It is a moisture-curing, 1-component polyurethane adhesive foam with low expansion for bonding polystyrene insulation boards (EPS and XPS) and rock wool to various substrates.
Also recommended for use in climate alliance municipalities.
Application examples :
For the special bonding of polystyrene insulation boards (EPS) in approved external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS).
For bonding insulation boards to facades, please be sure to refer to our separate information sheet!
For filling cavities and joints between thermal insulation boards to provide thermal insulation.
For bonding insulation boards in the area of flat roofs, perimeters, basement ceilings, facades, attics, etc.
Advantages :
Excellent adhesion to concrete, brick, plaster, wood, gypsum board, polystyrene, Styrofoam, Styrodur, rock wool, rigid PVC, bitumen, and much more (except, for example, polyethylene, silicone, PTFE, etc.). No electricity, no water, no mess. Low expansion allows for quick and secure alignment of the insulation boards. Significant weight reduction compared to conventional adhesive mortars. Compliant with ETAG 004. In Germany, building authority approval for bonding EPS insulation boards in approved external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) has been granted by the DIBT (German Institute for Building Technology).

Bin ehrlich gesagt total überrascht von der Schneidleistung und der Durchzugskraft der Stihl Akku Strauchschere, damit habe ich in meinem kleinen Garten den Strauchschnitt (Formschnitt) schnell und effizient erledigt!!! Ich bin wirklich begeistert von diesem Mähkopf! Ich habe damit rund 400 m² Hanglage gemäht und zusätzlich eine ca. 30 Meter lange Hecke sauber freigeschnitten – und das alles immer noch mit dem ersten Satz Kunststoffmesser. Damit hätte ich ehrlich gesagt nicht gerechnet.
Der PolyCut arbeitet sauber, ist angenehm leicht und schont im Vergleich zu einem Fadenkopf Zeit und Nerven, weil kein Faden nachgestellt werden muss. Auch dichteres Gras und Unkraut meistert er problemlos. Die Kunststoffmesser zeigen trotz des Einsatzes an Hang und entlang der Hecke erstaunlich wenig Verschleiß.
Für mich hat sich der Kauf absolut gelohnt. Wer einen zuverlässigen, langlebigen und einfach zu handhabenden Mähkopf sucht, macht mit dem Stihl PolyCut 6-2 nichts falsch. Ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann ihn uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
