PE (polyethylene) white
PE is water-repellent in normal conditions. Continuous operating temperatures for VLD-PE without mechanical stress range from -50°C to 80°C. Ignition occurs at approximately 340°C. It is resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohols, oil, and saline solutions. PE is sufficiently resistant to radiation in the visible range. UV radiation causes oxidation and is further intensified by the presence of oxygen. Therefore, PE parts become brittle on the surface and degrade over time.
