- TIG welding rod for AlMg alloys with a magnesium content of up to 5%, mostly used for base materials with Mg > 3%
- the weld metal is seawater resistant, however, a blend weld metal with Mg > 3% is sensitive to stress corrosion cracking at temperatures > 65°C
- the contained Cr, Mn and Ti improve the resistance to cracking and act as fine grain formers
- Suitability tested for the temperature range from -196°C to +100°C
- Can be used for high-strength aluminum constructions, e.g. in automotive construction
- particularly suitable for anodic post-treatment, provides a very good natural light color
- Prices plus alloy and raw material surcharges valid on the day of delivery
